I've enormously enjoyed learning from Nicki as a beginning adult student. Previously, I was playing by myself from books and tried some apps. But working with a passionate and experienced teacher added so many more dimensions, bringing together the feeling of the music, the movement and usage of my hands and body, a sense of the rhythm, the theory. Nicki has a structured tutorial curriculum, but was also open to me bringing a variety of other music that I was excited to play. It's so much more fun and I'm sure I'm progressing faster than learning alone -- I can't recommend her enough! --Martin P.
